LOS ANGELES -- Inhale Health, a Los Angeles-based biotechnology company, has launched its flagship product of the same name: a set of inhalable nutraceuticals that it says provides functional benefits.
The line comes in three varieties: Caffeine, Melatonin and Vitamin B12. Each one uses proprietary thermochemistry, which allows active micronutrients to transition to aerosol while remaining bioactive. Inhaling these nutrients vs. drinking or swallowing in pill form is the most efficient way for them to enter the bloodstream, according to the company. Each device has a 400-breath, or 1-month, supply.
Inhale Health nutraceuticals are made with pharmaceutical-grade active ingredients homogenized in an organic base. They are vegan-friendly and free from nicotine, propylene glycol and calories.
Here’s a look at each Inhale Health product …
Inhale Health Melatonin acts as an alternative to prescription sleep aids and outdated, slow-acting pills and tablets, the company said. Consumers breathe in for three seconds, five to 10 times before bed. One nightly dose contains up to 1 milligram of melatonin. The product comes in a Lavender Dream flavor.
The Caffeine vaporizer acts as a substitute for sugar-dense, high-calorie energy drinks, according to Inhale Health. This instant energy product provides up to 16 micrograms of caffeine with every three seconds of inhalation. Inhale Health recommends 10 breaths (160 micrograms) per day. Inhale Health Caffeine comes in two flavors: Sunburst Orange and Wild Flower.
Inhaling B12 compared to consuming it in pill form or an injection allows the product to bypass the inefficiencies of the digestive system and avoid vitamin deficiency, according to the company. By breathing in Inhale Health Vitamin B12 for three seconds, consumers inhale up to 12 micrograms. Inhale Health recommends 10 breaths per day. Vitamin B12 comes in four flavors: Violet Blossom, Super Fruit, Strawberry Fields and Honey Oats.
