Lynco Products Appoints New VP of Sales for Northeast

Distributor of convenience-store general merchandise expands team

MILAN, Ill. -- Lynco Products has announced the addition of Mike Filiatreau as vice president of sales for the company's Northeast region.

Lynco Products is a privately owned full-service distributor and importer of impulse, convenience and automotive products and general merchandise. It serves the travel center, car wash, grocery, convenience-store, mass and specialty retail channels.

“We are excited about adding Mike to our senior sales management team. This addition illustrates our commitment to our customers to build a strong management and sales organization to assist them in making their businesses more profitable,” said Tony Alexander, owner of Lynco Products. “Mike brings over 25 years of experience in the industry and has been instrumental in building sales organizations and establishing successful, long-term relationships with customers.”

The company was established in 2002 under the name Lyn Novelty Co. In January 2010, the company changed its name to Lynco Distribution Inc. dba Lynco Products to better represent the diverse markets it serves. Its 120,000-square-foot corporate office and distribution center is located in Milan, Ill. This centralized Midwest location enables the company to distribute more than 5,000 product offerings to customers throughout the United States.
