How much do you love Love’s?: Are you really a Love’s Travel Stops & Country Stores fan if you don’t own one of their Minizfigs mini travel stops and tankers? The Oklahoma City-based travel center chain announced in July that it would be selling the collectibles at stores while supplies last. The 298-piece tanker truck is about a foot long and 2.5 inches high when built, while the 220-piece travel stop is about 3 inches long by 7 inches high. Get building! —Hannah Hammond

Don’t blame the beaver: Getting customers to shell out cash has never been a problem for Buc-ee’s. But since the mega-convenience-store chain opened its location at Exit 42 on I-95 in Brunswick, Georgia, in early July, it is drawing in a demographic it doesn’t mean to attract. The glare of the tall lights at the interstate exit is attracting sea turtles, according to a CNN report. Under normal conditions, the soft glow of moonlight guides newly hatched loggerhead sea turtles from the beaches of Little St. Simons Island to the ocean. But the brighter lights at the exit are disrupting that instinct, said the report. Instead of heading toward the sea, the hatchlings are being drawn miles inland, where they risk falling prey to predators or dying from exhaustion before they find the water, Scott Coleman, ecological manager of Little St. Simons Island, told the news outlet. But Buc-ee’s is not to blame. The lights were there before the store was proposed or built, Brittany Dozier, Glynn County’s director of communications, told CNN. And Buc-ee’s itself is not responsible for the lights. Lake Jackson, Texas-based Buc-ee’s declined to comment to CSP Daily News—Greg Lindenberg

Recalling the 1980s though pizza: “Stranger Things” frozen pizza in four flavors is coming back to stores in anticipation of the Netflix series’ fifth and final season, which returns in November. Inspired by the Surfer Boy Pizza restaurant in season 4, Stranger Things Surfer Boy Pizza, developed by Milwaukee-based Palermo’s Pizza, has sold more than 10 million frozen pizzas to date. The four pizzas, which come with a limited-edition sticker, are Hawkins High Cheese Pizza, Palace Arcade Pepperoni, Hawkins Lab Combination and Starcourt Mall Supreme. There will be two waves of stickers, each with 11 designs, with the first wave launching in July and the second planned for November. —Chuck Ulie
