Casey’s General Stores has selected 13 brands to be part of its future product assortments and planning from its first Casey’s Innovation Summit. The retailer’s inaugural event focused on discovering innovative brands and their products for distribution across Casey’s network of nearly 2,900 convenience stores in 20 states.

“The enthusiastic response from emerging and innovative suppliers exceeded our expectations. Casey’s was thrilled to see their business plans and productive discussions aimed at adding their offerings into our stores,” said Chris Stewart, vice president of merchandising at Casey’s. “Our guests love seeing new, diverse, and exclusive products alongside the brands and items they have come to love.”

The Summit featured participation from more than 20 brands across various categories, all gathering at Casey’s Store Support Center to showcase their products.

This event highlights Casey’s commitment to enhancing its product lineup and providing new, innovative brands to its customers, the company said. It also provides an opportunity for smaller startups or entrepreneurs who may not typically have the ability to get in front of chain retailers to present their business strategy and offerings, Casey’s added.

The suppliers Casey’s selected for the Innovation Summit were:

  • Health Ade Kombucha
  • Karma
  • Hop Water
  • Bones Coffee
  • Spin Drift
  • Yerbae
  • 1st Phorm
  • Alc A Chino Hard Coffee
  • Pop Daddy Snacks
  • Country Archer Meat Snacks
  • Sweet Chaos Popcorn
  • Magic Spoon
  • Neuro Gum & Mints

Customers will begin seeing the new products in Casey’s stores in the coming months.

Casey’s, based in Ankeny, Iowa, operates nearly 2,900 convenience stores in the greater Midwest under the Casey’s and goodstop brands and in Texas under the Lone Star Food Stores and CEFCO brands. The company is the third-largest convenience-store retailer, the fourth-largest holder of liquor licenses and the fifth-largest pizza chain in the United States. Casey's is No. 3 on CSP’s 2024 Top 202 ranking of convenience-store chains by store count.
