Love’s Travel Stops expands relationship with Core-Mark

Love’s Travel Stops & Country Stores Inc. has expanded its agreement with convenience-store distributor Core-Mark, a Performance Food Group company. Under this new agreement, Core-Mark will serve as the primary approved national supplier for all 664 Love’s locations in the 42 states it serves, effective immediately.

Core-Mark established its relationship with Love’s in July 2022 to service approximately 100 of its West Coast locations. This significant expansion brings more than 550 additional stores into Core-Mark’s network.

Founded in 1964, Love’s travel stop network is family-owned and -operated and employs nearly 40,000 people. It provides professional drivers and travelers with 24-hour access to clean and safe places to purchase fuel, fresh food offerings through Love’s Fresh Kitchen and quick service restaurants and more.

“Love’s and Core-Mark share a customer-centric approach to delivering exceptional customer experiences,” said Roger Ahuja, executive vice president of operations at Oklahoma City-based Love’s. “Expanding our relationship will help us better meet our customers’ evolving needs, and their robust technology solutions will play a role in enhancing our operations and inventory management.”

Core-Mark offers a range of products, marketing programs and technology solutions to approximately 50,000 customer locations in the United States and Canada through 37 distribution centers. It services traditional convenience-store retailers, drug stores, big-box and supercenter stores, grocery stores, liquor stores and other specialty and small-format stores that carry convenience products.

Richmond, Virginia-based Performance Food Group is one of the largest food and foodservice distribution companies in North America with more than 150 locations.
