The foodservice program at Irving, Texas-based Stripes—a company recently sold to 7-Eleven as part of its acquisition of Sunoco—operates through Laredo Taco Company, which offers countless breakfast and lunch taco variations, burritos, fajitas, quesadillas and a salsa bar. The tacos stand above the rest, however, as nearly 27% of consumers said the menu item at Stripes is craveable—about 17 percentage points higher than burritos, which scored right behind.

Customers appreciate Stripes’ fresh, authentic menu items. At the chain’s salsa bar, they can top their dishes with pico de gallo, green salsa, red salsa and guacamole, all prepared in-store each day. “The homemade tortillas are worth the trip,” said one consumer. Laredo Taco Company is not just an afternoon and evening occasion; the foodservice program offers 12 different breakfast tacos, such as potato, egg, bean, cheese and bacon.
