Ricker's Keeps Pace With Pacers

Announces official partnership for Indiana basketball season

ANDERSON, Ind. -- Ricker's Convenience Stores said that it will be a part of the new Indiana basketball season as an official partner of the Indiana Pacers, beginning with the Pacers first home game at Bankers Life Fieldhouse on Oct. 29.

"Being an Indiana-grown company, we know the thrill of an Indiana basketball game is unmatched. We want to build on that excitement and offer something fun and valuable to Pacers fans," said president and CEO Quinn Ricker.

The Ricker's "Get Pumped!" timeout feature will happen during the fourth quarter of all 41 Pacers home games. The cameras will search the stands for one Pacers fan, and the chosen fan will win free gasoline for a month. Also, the winner's entire row will receive a coupon for a free RickerPop.

"We're excited to partner with Ricker's for this in-game promotion, and we believe it will add to the great experience that Pacers fans enjoy at games in Bankers Life Fieldhouse," said Jim Morris, president of Pacers Sports & Entertainment.

All Pacers fans can enjoy a free RickerPop after each win at home. Just present your admission ticket at any Ricker's Convenience Store within 24 hours and you will get a free 32-ounce RickerPop.

"Now there are multiple ways to save on the highest quality fuels for the lowest prices in town. You can save up to 10 cents a gallon with your Ricker's Rewards card, and you can go to a Pacers game, get pumped, and win free gas for a month," Ricker said.

Jay and Nancy Ricker founded Ricker Oil Co. Inc. in 1979. The Anderson, Ind.-based chain has grown to include 50 convenience stores, which employ more than 650 Hoosiers.
