DALLAS -- The first 7-Eleven convenience store located behind security inside a U.S. airport terminal has debuted at the Dallas-Fort Worth Airport (DFW) with a selection of products and services tailored to travelers and airport employees.
The store is open from 5 a.m. to 9 p.m. to best serve travelers.
7-Eleven created an exclusive, value-priced “snack pack” containing a small bag of multi-grain pita chips, white cheddar cheese and salami sticks, a pouch of pitted green olives, a dried-fruit blend, thin chocolate cookies, Gummi bears and a butter mint. This product is only available at this store.
“We believe visitors and airport employees will be pleasantly surprised at how many of their travel and everyday needs 7-Eleven can fill,” said Doug Rosencrans, 7-Eleven vice president for stores in Texas. “Whether they are arriving at their final destination or in the middle of a work shift, we look forward to serving the thousands who come through DFW’s A Terminal every day.”
7-Eleven Inc., DFW Airport and Paradies Lagardère Travel Retail, the concessionaire operating this new location, will hold a customer appreciation event November 11 from 3 p.m. o 4 p.m. at the store located near Terminal A’s Gate 25.
Because the event takes place on Veterans Day, 7-Eleven will present the Texas Christian University Army ROTC with a $711 Project A-Game grant for its Cadet Fund, and Paradies Lagardère Travel Retail will donate $711 to the DFW Airport USO organization.
In June, 7-Eleven opened its first in-terminal convenience store at Los Angeles International Airport (LAX).
