SAN JUAN CAPISTRANO, Calif. -- AXIS Business Advisory Services LLC, acting as exclusive financial advisor to Fisher Arizona LLC, has announced the successful asset sale to Western Refining Southwest Inc. The sale consisted of Chevron-branded gas stations and convenience stores in Tucson, Ariz.
"This was the second transaction we closed in as many months representing owners of gas stations and convenience stores in Tucson, Ariz. Western Refining Southwest Inc. was the acquirer in both transactions. I think it is another excellent strategic move by Western Refining as a means [image-nocss] to lock up distribution for their refined product. AXIS has a niche in the gas station, convenience store and car wash space with multiple successful financings, sale/merger transactions, and repositionings," said Marc Berger, co-managing director for AXIS and lead principal for this transaction.
In July, AXIS, acting as exclusive financial advisor to Loma Catalina LLC (dba Catalina Mart), announced a master lease agreement with Western Refining Southwest and supply agreements with Chevron USA Inc. and Valero Energy Corp. for 17 Catalina Mart gas stations and convenience stores located in Tucson.
