SAVANNAH, Ga. -- Enmark Stations Inc. has announced that Doug Carroll has joined the company as director of real estate. In his new role, Carroll manages the company's real-estate strategy, including site selection and acquisition of Enmark-owned real estate, and oversees the existing real-estate portfolio, disposition and re-position of surplus property.

Carroll has held various roles within the retail real-estate industry, from shopping center leasing to c-store development with RaceTrac Petroleum. Most recently, he was the southeast Real Estate Manager for Papa Murphy's Pizza, a 1,400-unit take-and-bake pizza restaurant.

Founded as Interstate Stations in 1963 by Robert Demere, Enmark Stations is a family-run business. Today, the Savannah, Ga.-based company, which celebrates its 50-year anniversary in 2013, operates 59 stores in Georgia, South Carolina and North Carolina that offer competitively priced gasoline, food and beverages, cigarettes, lottery services and more. Enmark's gasoline is filtered through a trademarked Double Filtered System, resulting in gasoline and diesel that is clean and 100% water-free, the company said. Enmark customers can save up to 10 cents per gallon by using an Enmark Cash Card, a reloadable stored-value card that can be used directly at the pump.
