TOPEKA, Kansas -- Dan Fast, president of Pic-Quik, Inc., Hutchinson, Kansas, was elected president of the Petroleum Marketers & Convenience Store Association of Kansas (PMCA) during the association's 100th annual convention Sept. 15 in Wichita, reported HutchNews.com
He is the 83rd president of the association.
Fast has been a member of the association's executive committee for the past three years. He has also served on the PMCA convention committee, motor fuels and convenience store committee.
Fast and wife Debbie assumed control in 1982 of the family-owned business that was established in 1966 by Debbie’s parents, Ed and Dickie Fitzgerald. They operate six convenience stores in Hutchinson and provide fuel for other retailers throughout the county, said the report.
PMCA of Kansas is a statewide trade association representing the independent marketing segment of the petroleum industry. PMCA membership consists of nearly 300 licensed petroleum distributors, convenience store owners/operators and gasoline retailers. PMCA of Kansas was established in Wichita in 1914 as the Kansas Oil Men’s Association.
