Fronzaglia Joins IZZE

Beverage company names ops EVP

BOULDER, Colo. -- IZZE Beverage Co. has hired Gil Fronzaglia as executive vice president of operations. At IZZE, Fronzaglia will oversee all aspects of the operations department, including supply chain, logistics, manufacturing and packaging.

Fronzaglia brings eight years of executive level experience in the consumer products industry to IZZE. Most recently, as cofounder and executive vice president of Blue Buffalo Co. LLC, Fronzaglia brought the holistic pet food manufacturer to its current distribution of 43 SKUs in more than 700 stores.

Prior to his own business venture, Fronzaglia spent the previous five years as the vice president of operations for South Beach Beverage Co., manufacturer of SOBE, and was responsible for improving the gross profit margin by 12% and increasing production capacity by 86%. Fronzaglia also spent 10 years with Pepsi Cola Co., where he served as an operations manager in the Florida/South Georgia business unit.

Boulder, Colo.-based IZZE Beverage makes IZZE Sparkling Juice, now sold nationally in Starbucks and Target stores, as well as in local Whole Foods Markets, Wild Oats Markets, Costco, grocery stores and casual and fine dining restaurants and delis across the United States, the Caribbean and the South Pacific. IZZE is available in seven flavors: Sparkling Blackberry, Sparkling Blueberry, Sparkling Clementine, Sparkling Grapefruit, Sparkling Lemon, Sparkling Pear and Sparkling Pomegranate, and is sold in 4-packs, single-serve 12- and 16-oz. glass bottles, and 8.4-oz. cans.
