JA OK Honors QT's Cadieux

Presents convenience store chain top exec with Business Excellence Award

TULSA, Okla. -- Junior Achievement (JA) of Oklahoma presented Chester "Chet" Cadieux III, president, chairman and CEO of QuikTrip Corp. with the Business Excellence Award at the 23rd Annual Junior Achievement of Oklahoma Business Excellence Dinner on May 7.

The Business Excellence Award symbolizes the "spirit of achievement" that JA works to instill in Oklahoma students. The award is presented to individuals who have demonstrated entrepreneurial spirit, achieved success in their field and contributed to the quality of life in the community.

Alan Armstrong, CEO of Williams, received the distinguished JA Silver Leadership Award. Don Crall, owner of Coating Specialists, David Wagner of Schnake Turnbo Frank PR and Patrick Piper of Bank of Oklahoma received Bronze service awards for their outstanding service and dedication.

JA honored Dr. Diane Hensley of Tulsa Public Schools with the JA Educator of the Year award. It honored Steve York with the JA Volunteer of the Year award.
