Little General Opens 100th Overall Retail Location

Pineville, W.Va., site is company's 86th c-store

PINEVILLE, W.Va. -- Little General Stores Inc. has opened its newest location, complete with Exxon fuel and an Arby's Restaurant, in Pineville, W.Va. This makes Little General Store's fourth location in Wyoming County, W.Va., and its 100th overall retail location.

The store was demolished and rebuilt, as it formerly operated for years as Woody's by the England family and then as Robco Convenience Store by the Robertson family. The Arby's is oufitted with a "rock star" decor.

This location will also have an ATM, New River Coffee, f'REAL milkshakes, Polar Shock frozen beverages, movie rentals and everyday value on staples such as milk, ice cream, pop, snacks, beer, wine, sandwiches, cigs, tobacco and novelties.

"With our final piece of the puzzle for Wyoming County, we are very excited about opening a Little General Store in Pineville, and welcome the residents of the Pineville Area and the former customers of Woody's & Robco Convenience Store to stop by and check us out," said Little General Store's director of retail, Brian Waugh. "Located within our existing territory, we look forward to meeting the shopping, convenience, fuel and eating needs of the people of Pineville and surrounding areas for many years to come by offering everything to everyone."

He added, "We look forward to leveraging our strengths and operating capability to further expand the Little General business model by offering great prices in convenient places to the residents and miners of Wyoming County and the Southern West Virginia Coalfields."
