MFA Oil Hires Former Super Pantry Exec

Chaney brings 30 years of industry experience to role of SVP of retail

COLUMBIA, Mo. --MFA Oil Co., a farmer-owned cooperative based in Columbia, Mo., has hired Curtis Chaney as senior vice president of retail. Chaney will be responsible for the Break Time convenience stores as well as MFA Oil's Jiffy Lube franchise locations.

Chaney brings 30 years of convenience store experience to MFA Oil. Since 2000, Chaney had been employed by Tri Star Marketing Inc., based in Champaign, Ill., that operated 55 Super Pantry convenience stores in Illinois and Indiana. Chaney served as the vice president and chief operating officer since 2012 for Tri-Star.

Prior to that, Chaney worked as a district manager for SpeedwaySuperAmerica.

MFA Oil, formed in 1929, is a farmer-owned cooperative with more than 40,000 members. The company supplies fuels, lubricants and propane to customers in Missouri, Arkansas, Oklahoma, Kansas, Indiana, Kentucky, Iowa, Colorado, Nebraska, North Carolina, Wyoming, Tennessee, Georgia and Virginia. Through a subsidiary, MFA Oil operates Break Time convenience stores in Missouri and Arkansas, Jiffy Lube franchises in central Missouri and Big O Tires franchises in central Missouri and Arkansas.
