Sunday, Oct. 13, 10–11:15 a.m.
General Session featuring NACS chairman Dave Carpenter and Chip Conley delivering keynote address
Acclaimed business leader and best-selling author Chip Conley is the opening general-session speaker for the NACS Show. He is founder of Joie de Vivre, California’s largest independent hotel company and America’s second-largest boutique hotelier. Through insights from his best-selling book, "Peak: How Great Companies Get Their Mojo from Maslow," Conley will share with attendees how they can motivate employees, customers and investors through peak experiences that address their higher, unspoken needs.
Conley has been an in-demand speaker on main stages across the country.
Monday, Oct. 14, 10–11:15 a.m.
"Ideas 2 Go" featuring NACS president and CEO Henry Armour
NACS president and CEO Henry Armour will kick off the session with an update on important industry initiatives and will then introduce the latest NACS “Ideas 2 Go” video presentation. Ideas 2 Go showcases new ideas and concepts that are making a difference at convenience stores across the country, whether delivering exceptional foodservice, refining loyalty or creating new profit centers.
Tuesday, Oct. 15, 8:45–10 a.m.
General Session featuring NACS incoming chairman Brad Call and Hillary Rodham Clinton delivering keynote address
The Honorable Hillary Rodham Clinton, former secretary of state and former U.S. senator from New York, has been named the closing general-session speaker for the NACS Show. Hillary Rodham Clinton has spent nearly four decades in public service as an advocate, attorney, first lady and senator. She served as the 67th secretary of state of the United States from Jan. 21, 2009, until Feb. 1, 2013.
