PITTSBURGH -- CoGo’s Co., a Pittsburgh-based convenience store chain, has announced the appointment of John C. Eby III as president and chief executive officer.
He is replacing Carl Colteryahn Jr., his father-in-law and founder of CoGo’s.
Eby has held a number of leadership positions at PNC Bank, FORE Systems and most recently Kraft Heinz.
He plans to leverage his experience with zero-based budgeting and retail and foodservice marketing to position CoGo’s in a competitive convenience-store marketplace.
CoGo's Co. is a convenience store chain with more than 50 locations primarily in southwestern Pennsylvania. The company offers gasoline, fast-food service, groceries and Colteryahn Dairy products.
The company's roots date back to 1893 when William Colteryahn founded the first dairy in Pittsburgh, Colteryahn Dairy.
