Parker’s Promotes Bush to Director of Operations

Will manage all c-stores, help chain expand into new markets

SAVANNAH, Ga. -- Convenience-store chain Parker’s has promoted Jeff Bush to director of operations. In his new position, Bush is responsible for overseeing daily operations of all retail stores, including fuels, pricing and logistics.

Bush joined Parker’s in 2012 as director of fuel management and was responsible for overseeing fuel logistics, pricing strategies, supply costs and negotiations with suppliers. During his tenure with the company, he has helped lead the Parker’s district manager development program and has spearheaded community outreach efforts.

“Jeff has truly earned this opportunity to manage operations at all of our stores and will help us expand into new markets,” said Parker’s president and CEO Greg Parker. “Since joining Parker’s, he has worked closely with operations while focusing on pricing, supply and loyalty. A natural leader, Jeff has a powerful commitment to the Parker’s brand and will help us achieve new levels of success as we continue to expand our footprint throughout the region.”

Originally from Lewes, Del., Bush joined the Army as a forward observer at age 19. He rose to the rank of staff sergeant, earning the Combat Action Badge, Iraqi Campaign Medal and 14 other awards and medals. During his tenure in the Army, he was selected as the Fort Stewart Noncommissioned Officer (NCO) of the Year and received the Major General Aubrey Newman Award for Leadership Excellence.

Savannah, Ga.-based Parker’s operates 44 convenience stores in Georgia and South Carolina.
