PMAA Elects Bailey Chairman for 2016

Association also elects vice chairman, regional leaders

ARLINGTON, Va. -- Mike Bailey, Bailey Oil Co., Riverton, Wyo., was elected 2016 chairman of the board for the Petroleum Marketers Association of America (PMAA) during PMAA’s Fall Meeting in Las Vegas.

Additionally, the board elected Mark Whitehead, Whitehead Oil Co., Lincoln, Neb., was elected as PMAA vice chairman, and Mark McBride, Cox Oil Co., Union City, Tenn., was elected PMAA second vice chairman.

Five regional leaders were also elected to the PMAA Executive Committee:

  • Larry Ray, Ray Petroleum, Randolph, N.J.
  • Glenn Hasken, Molo Petroleum, Dubuque, Iowa.
  • Daniel Erwin, Erwin Oil Co. Inc., Durham, N.C.
  • Ron Leone, Missouri Petroleum Marketers & Convenience Store Association, Jefferson City, Mo.
  • Suzanne Budge, Idaho Petroleum Marketers & Convenience Store Association, Boise, Idaho.

Bailey is a second-generation petroleum marketer, serving as president and CEO of Bailey Enterprises Inc. which was founded by his father in 1967. Through the years, Bailey Enterprises, Inc. has grown to include Bailey Oil Co. (a distributor of bulk fuels and lubricants throughout Wyoming and surrounding states), seven Pit Stop Convenience Stores, two Bailey Tire and Auto Service Centers, three Bailey Oil Fuel Depot Unattended Card Locks, the Speed Way Café, Central Wyoming Transportation (a dedicated hazardous materials carrier) and Wyoming Parts Inc. (NAPA Auto Parts).

He is an industry and community leader at both the state and local level.

When working at Bailey Oil, the convenience stores, tire stores or pouring coffee at the café, he "proudly wears the company’s uniform along with his employees."
