Rutter's Adds Sleeper to IT Team

C-store vet active in industry trade groups

YORK, Pa. -- Rutter's has added convenience store veteran Bob Sleeper to its information technology staff as software application support manager.

Sleeper was director of information technology for Nice N Easy Grocery Shoppes Inc., Canastota, N.Y., from 1989 to 1999. Most recently, he was senior systems analyst for Noco Energy, Tonowanda, N.Y., an operator of convenience stores and a wholesale petroleum distributor.

Sleeper is active in the National Association of Convenience Stores (NACS). He formerly served on the board of directors [image-nocss] of the Petroleum Convenience Alliance for Technology Standards (PCATS).

Family-owned and third-generation-managed, Rutter's is comprised of Rutter's Farm Stores, which operates 50 c-stores in York, Adams, Franklin and Lancaster counties in Pennsylvania; Rutter's Dairy; and M&G Realty, a real-estate holding company.
