Sheetz: Four Stores, Four States

Retailer rapidly expands convenience-store network

ALTOONA, Pa. --Sheetz Inc. is adding four new convenience stores in four states: Morgantown, W.Va.; Morrisville, N.C.; St. Clairsville, Ohio; and Bethel, Pa.

The Morgantown store opened June 29, 2016; the Morrisville and St. Clairsville stores opened June 30. The Bethel store will open July 7.

Combined, the four stores will offer 104 new full- and part-time jobs in West Virginia, Pennsylvania, North Carolina and Ohio.

Sheetz will donate $2,500 per new store to Special Olympics in all four of those states.

The chain’s more than 500 c-stores in Pennsylvania, West Virginia, North Carolina, Ohio, Maryland, and Virginia are open 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. They offer fresh food such as Made to Order (MTO) subs, sandwiches, burgers, premium salads, appetizers, breakfast sandwiches and more. They also feature MTGo! ready-to-eat foods and Shweetz Bakery lines of doughnuts and muffins, along with Sheetz Bros. Coffeez, a full-service espresso and smoothie bar where customers can order handmade specialty coffee drinks including lattes, cappuccinos and mochas, hot, frozen or iced.
