HARRISBURG, Pa. -- Sheetz Inc. will celebrate the grand opening of the companys newest concept store in Harrisburg, Pa., on Thursday, October 6.
The chains 65 local employees will host a dignitary reception and ribbon-cutting ceremony. As part of the grand opening, the company will make a $2,000 donation to The Foundation for the Central Dauphin Schools.
At 7,000-sq. ft., the new Sheetz location offers customers a restaurant-style atmosphere. The store also features a new menu including cold and toasted subs, paninis, saladz and [image-nocss] brick-oven pizza.
It also features a Kidz menu and the Sheetz Bros. Coffeez Espresso Bar staffed by a professional barista. Convenience items such as a self-serve bakery, bulk candy and peanut dispensers, cold grabn go case and self-serve milk shakes have also been included.
The Harrisburg location opened to the public on September 23.
Altoona, Pa.-based Sheetz operates more than 300 stores in Pennsylvania, Ohio, Virginia, West Virginia, Maryland and North Carolina.
