ENON, Ohio -- Speedway LLC has announced that it has finalized all closing-related activities pertaining to the acquisition of 87 GasAmerica Services Inc. retail locations in Indiana and Ohio.
The transaction was originally announced on Feb. 9, 2012.

The tremendous effort by both the GasAmerica and Speedway teams provided for a very smooth and efficient operational transition," said Speedway president Tony Kenney.
"These stores will be an outstanding addition to the Speedway brand," Kenney said when the deal was announced. "They are very well-managed stores that will complement our existing network, allowing us to better serve customers in our Indiana and Ohio markets."
Speedway LLC, headquartered in Enon, Ohio, owns and operates the nation's fourth largest convenience store chain, with approximately 1,460 locations in seven states in the Midwest. Speedway is an indirect wholly owned subsidiary of Marathon Petroleum Corp. (MPC).
