TA Opens Location in Laredo, Texas

Company's 234th travel center

WESTLAKE, Ohio -- TravelCenters of America (TA) has opened its 234th travel center, located on 30 acres adjacent to Interstate 35 in Laredo, Texas.

The facility also features a Country Pride full-service restaurant that offers country-style food with Southwest regional specialties on the menu such as spicy enchilada and burrito platters. They can also choose from three quick-serve restaurants: Burger King, Subway or Taco Bell Express, located in a food court with both indoor and outdoor seating.

In addition, a 3,200-square-foot [image-nocss] convenience store offers a variety of products, snacks and brand name beverages, including TA Caf a Express, which features TA Extremedubbed by drivers as the 500-mile coffee a dark-roast gourmet blend. TA Caf a Express also features breakfast sandwiches, pastries and fresh deli sandwiches.

Professional drivers will find that TA Laredo caters to their truck repair and maintenance needs with a five-bay truck service center that is open 24 hours, seven days a week. Other conveniences at the site include eight diesel lanes with Pronto Pass, a 350-space truck parking area and Cat scales. Professional drivers can relax in a lounge area with WiFi access, a game room, TripPak Scanning, a laundry room and 11 showers. TA Laredo participates in the RoadKing Club program so club members will be able to earn points on qualifying purchases.

TA Laredo also offers gasoline and diesel for cars and RVs with 12-lane motorist fueling positions and 135 parking spaces.
