Tedeschi Honors Operators

Retailer awards top performers in customer service, merchandising, foodservice, more

PROVIDENCE, R.I. -- Tedeschi Food Shops' sales and marketing department hosted Tedeschi Food Shops' store operators, business partners and office personnel at its 2011 Trade Show & Awards Banquet, the Rockland, Mass.-based retailer said on its blog.

The event, held at the Rhode Island Convention Center in Providence, R.I., opened with an executive panel featuring a Q&A session with Peter Tedeschi, president and CEO; Bob Tedeschi, vice president of operations; Richard Jasper, CFO; Ray Tedeschi, vice president of loss prevention; Greg Donogue, vice president of human [image-nocss] resources; Bob McGann, vice president of store development; Joe Hamza, vice president of sales and marketing; and Doug New, CIO.

The panel discussed the present state of the company as well as goals and plans for the future.

An "all aboard"-themed presentation from the sales and marketing department brought these goals to life, demonstrating how the company plans to meet the demands of its increasingly health-conscious customers by continuing to focus on offering fresh, high-quality foods as well as standard convenience store fare.
