Thorntons Launches Recruiting Drive at $10.25 an Hour

C-store chain looking to hire more than 100 new employees

LOUISVILLE, Ky. -- Convenience-store chain Thorntons is looking to hire more than 100 employees, starting at a new minimum hourly rate of $10.25, up 12% over the current beginning rate, in the Louisville, Ky., area.

In addition to the 100 “guest service representative” positions, to support the company’s growth plans, Thorntons plans to fill store managers, general managers, foodservice managers, management trainees, drivers, operations engineer, instructional designer and many other positions in the Louisville and southern Indiana areas.
