CHICAGO -- Phil Tomczyk, a veteran executive in the dynamic gasoline and convenience industry, has been named to the board of directors of The Energy Exchange, a nationally recognized real-estate firm that specializes in the sale of gas stations and convenience stores nationwide.
"Phil Tomczyk brings 37 years of oil, convenience store, real estate and fuel distribution business experience to our organization. His unique blend of oil industry and real estate knowledge combined with his finesse and understanding of the importance of fostering personal relationships in the industry will make a significant contribution to our management team," said Phil Boyd, director of The Energy Exchange, Chicago.
Tomczyk is currently the CEO of Cave Creek Investment Properties, a Phoenix-based commercial real-estate company. Previously, his experience included his tenure as president and CEO of Community Fuels of Texas, a fuel distribution company based in Dallas-Fort Worth; president and CEO of Auto Auto Wash; president of the Giant Industries Retail Group and as senior vice president of gasoline and real estate for Circle K.
He is a past member of the board of directors of the National Real Estate Clearinghouse.
