Cabela's Expands Customer Loyalty Program Through Cenex

Exclusive partnership offers consumers double points
ST. PAUL, Minn. -- CHS Inc. a leading energy, grains and foods company, has partnered with Cabela's Inc. to create a new credit-card and loyalty program for Cenex, the retail fuel brand of CHS. The new Cenex co-branded Cabela's CLUB Visa card offers the same great benefits as the Cabela's CLUB Visa credit card, with the added benefit for all CLUB members of double points or 2% in CLUB points for every purchase made at any of the 1,600 Cenex-branded fueling centers.

Additionally, CLUB members receive 2% for all purchases at Cabela's and 1% for all non-Cabela's purchases. Cenex co-branded CLUB card members will also receive exclusive discounts and invitations to member-only events. The card will have no annual fee.

Joe Friebe, World's Foremost Bank president and CEO, said, "Offering additional points at Cenex locations aligns with our long-term strategy to reward our loyal CLUB members with new and unique benefits to enhance their outdoor lifestyle and CHS benefits by leveraging these engaged customers to drive brand recognition and market share."

CHS will promote the Cenex co-branded Cabela's CLUB Visa online and in its fueling centers starting in mid-October. Under this exclusive partnership, Cenex is the only petroleum brand able to offer double CLUB points on a co-branded Cabela's CLUB Visa.

"The Cenex brand is well-known in rural America, particularly in the West and Midwest, which aligns with Cabela's core customer base. Both brands enjoy strong recognition among people who enjoy the outdoors and this partnership rewards those members with more opportunities for free gear from Cabela's," said Friebe.

"There is good synergy between the strong Cenex and Cabela's brands, and we are pleased to offer these additional reward opportunities to our valued customers," said Rick Cummings, CHS vice president of refined fuels marketing.

Cabela's, headquartered in Sidney, Neb., is a leading specialty retailer, and the world's largest direct marketer of hunting, fishing, camping and related outdoor merchandise. Cabela's also issues the Cabela's CLUB Visa credit card, which serves as its primary customer loyalty rewards program.

CHS is a diversified energy, grains and foods company. It operates petroleum refineries and pipelines and manufactures, markets and distributes Cenex brand refined fuels, lubricants, propane and renewable energy products.
