TITUSVILLE, Fla. -- In keeping with its corporate commitment to supporting youth causes in the communities it serves, Cumberland Farms presented a $1,000 donation Tuesday to support the Titusville, Fla., Police Athletic League (PAL).
PAL is the cooperative effort of the Titusville Police Department and area businesses and citizens. It provides a safe place for kids ages 7 to 18 to play, and gives many children who might not otherwise be able to an opportunity to participate in organized athletics. The program was designed to use sports as an avenue to [image-nocss] reach children who need positive values in their lives.
Cumberland Farms is a champion of PAL's program. Its donation reflects the company's commitment to participating in the community, as it marks the opening of its newest store in Titusville. The store is an updated design, with a customer-friendly design, more square footage and wider shopping isles. The store also hosts the company's signature Chill Zone, a selection of delicious frozen drinks, and a daily selection of fresh sandwiches and meals-on-the-go from its Fresh Sandwich line.
The Titusville Cumberland Farms is open 24 hours a day and offers 24 pumping stations.
Cumberland Farms' network of retail stores, gas stations and a support system including petroleum, dairy and grocery distribution operations spans 11 states across the Northeast and Florida.
Cumberland Farms takes pride in its corporate citizenship.
