CSP Information Group releases CSPedia retailer online intelligence tool
OAK BROOK, Ill. -- CSP Information Group has announced the release of CSPedia, a new online, subscription-based information bank of retailers and chains with 20 stores or more within the convenience retailing segment. CSPedia will contain detailed information on more than 400 companies in convenience retailing with 20 stores or more drawn from primary and secondary data sources, validated by CSP research analysts.

Beyond the traditional directory-type information, CSPedia includes a chain overview, chain-supplied "selling to" suggestions, key buying contacts and chain-specific [image-nocss] category insights and analysis. It is updated online continuously and includes all relevant print and multimedia content including CSP video, photos, interviews and news reports/analysis with automated news feeds on each company record. Once a subscription is secured, CSPedia's online directory can be accessed anywhere via the Internet at www.cspedia.net.

"We continue to hear from industry suppliers that there is a real need for an accurate and detailed directory-type resource for convenience retailing," said CSP Internet group publisher John Callanan. "We are in a unique position with a senior team of editors and research analysts to assemble a directory of information that only CSP could provide. We've built a solid resource that goes beyond the typical information and supplies chain-specific actionable intelligence, most of which is provided by the retailers themselves."

"CSP has listened to our supplier and retailer customers and created a product that is the direct result of understanding their mutual needs for accurate information about each account before the sales call is made," added CSP's senior vice president of marketing and business development, Myra Kressner. "Hence, CSPedia's driving theme to 'know your customer.' Plus, we've made it remarkably user-friendly and intuitive for sales people to use often, making it far superior to anything else in the market."

CSPedia is a subscription-based service with an annual multi-user license starting at $5,990. Visitwww.cspedia.net for more information or contact Myra Kressner, senior vice president of marketing and business development, at (718) 428-7655 or mkressner@cspnet.com.
