CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- CMI Solutions, a convenience-store and wholesale fuel solutions software provider, and its partner Verge Retail, a mobile software company for c-store distributors and retailers, recently announced CMI’s integration with Verge Replenish, an iPad-based ordering platform that uses sales data to drive better suggested orders.
Verge Replenish replaces multiple devices and programs with a single interface that works with c-stores’ back-office and point-of-sale (POS) systems to streamline order replenishment for their primary grocery distributor and other participating vendors. The intuitive iPad app allows Charlotte, N.C.-based CMI’s clients to create orders for a variety of vendors, audit and manage inventory of the entire store and check-in product from all vendors.
The software automatically generates suggested order values based on sales, existing inventory values and other factors such as build-to thresholds.
“For CMI, we packaged the entire item-level inventory management—including vendor check-ins—and ordering process into a single app, which means improved efficiency in day-to-day operations and less time training new employees,” said Carson Kuehne, chief innovations officer for Verge.
Verge Retail, Henderson, N.C., provides technology for distributors and retailers of all sizes. The Verge suite of technology platforms includes C-tech and SalesTech for store and sales rep ordering, Replenish for item-level replenishment, Ignite iPad app for sales and marketing, Promote for distributor marketing and order booking and Connect branded apps for retailers.
