Bo Sasnett, Acumera

Sasnett will be responsible for creating new programs using Acumera’s services for a wide range of businesses in the petroleum industry, according to Dirk Heinen, Acumera’s CEO.

“Our recent growth is a reflection of the tremendous need for secure, reliable connections and services we’ve seen throughout the retail petroleum and convenience-store technology industries,” said Heinen. “Bo brings more than 25 years of experience, expertise and relationships that will help us expand Acumera’s footprint and deliver valuable new program offerings for the retail petroleum space.”

Prior to joining Acumera, Sasnett served as vice president of business development for Bennett Pump Co., Spring Lake, Mich., a manufacturer of fuel-dispensing equipment. During his career, Sasnett has also held sales and leadership positions at Additech, Houston; Outsite Networks, Norfolk, Va.; Dresser Wayne, Austin, Texas; and Universal Epsco, Atlanta.

“Acumera is known for its secure connectivity and networking technology and outstanding customer service,” said Sasnett. “The company is well positioned to assist retailers with their PCI [payment card industry] compliance and provide necessary infrastructure for the upcoming EMV [Europay MasterCard Visa] requirements. Acumera has achieved significant growth over the past several years, and I’m excited to be a part of its future growth.”

Founded in 2002, Acumera provides connection services tomultisite merchants, specializing in network-management and security issues. Acumera actively manages networks and provides visibility and remote-management capability. In addition to network status, merchants have real-time insight into key operational measures, such as fuel-inventory levels and environmental and food-safety temperatures.
