Delta Sonic Chooses Titan for Total Compliance Management

Titan appoints Thrash as vice president of account development

BUFFALO, N.Y. -- Car wash and convenience store chain Delta Sonic recently chose Titan Management Group to assist in the management of operational compliance for all of its facilities, which span New York, Illinois and Pennsylvania.

To meet the increasing regulatory complexity of compliance for facilities with underground storage tanks (USTs), the company will rely on Titan to mitigate risk exposures while increasing operational efficiencies. This includes central document management, regulatory inspection preparation and communication interface, automatic tank gauge (ATG) [image-nocss] alarm monitoring and maintenance tracking.

Titan helps more than 100 convenience store chains like Delta Sonic gain total management of environmental, fuel and facility operations.

Buffalo, N.Y.-based Delta Sonic consists of more than 25 car wash/c-store outlets. The first Delta Sonic car wash opened in 1967 in Niagara Falls, N.Y., and has expanded to 10 locations in Buffalo, five in Rochester, one in Syracuse, nine in Chicago, and one in Erie, Pa.

The company engineers its own proprietary equipment and car-washing systems.

Meanwhile, Brentwood, Tenn.-based Titan Management Group has appointed Scot Thrash to the role of vice president of account development. Thrash will be responsible for leading Titan's account management and client implementation efforts.

Thrash most recently served as senior environmental compliance specialist for Enterprise Holdings, a major fleet operator with more than $14 billion in annual sales and a fleet of one million vehicles, where he led centralized aboveground storage tank (AST) and underground storage tank compliance management initiatives for the global company. Thrash also has in-depth expertise in facilities management.

"Scot brings a unique combination of industry knowledge and successful client-side software implementation experience to Titan," said David Freese, CEO of Titan Management Group.

Titan is a provider of environmental, fuel and facility software solutions for c-store and commercial fleet operators in North America. Other industry clients include 7-Eleven, Sheetz, Turkey Hill, Mapco, Mountain Express Oil, TriStar Energy, Atlantis Oil, True North Energy and
Warren Equities.
