Petroleum Equipment Institute pumps up website
TULSA, Okla. -- Petroleum Equipment Institute (PEI), the main trade association for the petroleum equipment industry, has launched a redesigned website, www.pei.org. The new website offers easier navigation as well as press releases from PEI and PEI member companies, expanded shows and events, online recommended practice testing, an industry calendar and a broad offering of business and industry resources. The site also features a redesigned shopping area where visitors can browse products in convenient categories making the online shopping experience with PEI similar to other [image-nocss] online retailers.

Over the coming weeks, the website will continue to add new features. An online lexicon and industry encyclopedia called WikiPEI will function as the largest and most interactive online reference tool in the petroleum and energy equipment industry.

Additionally, PEI has partnered with Coastal Technologies that will provide expanded access to online training and safety.

This tool provides a thorough listing of PEI member benefits and allows individuals to determine which benefits best fit their needs to determine an accurate return on membership for their company. The results can then be viewed and emailed in a personalized report.

The redesigned site was designed, incorporating extensive member feedback, to provide the public with a more dynamic, enriched and informative online experience.
