LOUISVILLE, Colo. -- Envysion Inc., a leading managed video as a service (MVaaS) provider, has hired Tim Dillon as vice president of sales.

"We are excited to add Tim to our expanding Envysion team at a time when the company is growing rapidly and has significant opportunity ahead of it," said Matt Steinfort, president and CEO of Louisville, Colo.-based Envysion. "Tim brings with him a deep experience in sales with a strong focus on client management and sales strategy."

With 15 years' experience in selling SaaS, Dillon has a track record in growing sales teams in both fast startups and mature companies. In his role at Envysion, Dillon will be responsible for growing top line revenue, driving customer satisfaction, and scaling the sales engine.

"With an established customer base, a focused sales team and innovative new products in place, I look forward to aggressively growing the company in 2014," Dillon said.

Prior to joining Envysion, Dillon was vice president of sales at Cision, overseeing the growth, support, and retention of more than 6,500 SaaS customers. Dillon was responsible for Cision's U.S. client-base, managing all aspects of customer experience as well as growing the sales team.

Envysion enables large, national retail, restaurant, cinema and convenience store operators to increase profitability 10% to 15% by putting video-based business intelligence into the hands of the entire organization. Envysion created the MVaaS model, which it said transforms video surveillance into a strategic management tool that provides instant and unfiltered business insights to users across operations, loss prevention, marketing and human resources. It said that the MVaaS model enables Envysion to accelerate innovation by rapidly responding to market opportunity and making new capabilities immediately available to all users. Envysion's platform scales to thousands of locations and tens of thousands of users without straining the IT department or network.
