Fuel Retailer Taps ADD Systems for Back Office

Multiple software solutions part of operations revamp

MANASSAS, Va. -- Wine Energy is partnering with Advanced Digital Data Inc. (ADD Systems) for back-office software for the fuel retailer’s Wi-Not Stop convenience stores.

Manassas, Va.-based Wine Energy has grown over the years to include delivering petroleum with 30 trucks and operating 11 convenience stores and a Dairy Queen, plus on-site fleet fueling and HVAC. The company needed a system to streamline day-to-day operations.

“The choice of ADD Systems was clear because we needed one system. We had different systems with a lot of manual work and double entry,” said Kristin Shelman, vice president of operations.

This past summer, Wine Energy rolled out the latest ADD Systems c-store software, ADD eStore. “It was a very positive transition from another totally different software system,” said Carl Hitt, Wine Energy’s director of retail operations.

Wine Energy also implemented Atlas Advanced BI, ADD software for business intelligence and reporting. Atlas provides operational reporting and analytics for the stores with real-time point-of-sale reporting.

In addition to the convenience-store software, Wine Energy has implemented ADD software solutions for its fuel-oil distribution business, including ADD Energy E3, the ADD back-office solution for energy distribution. The company also recently purchased RAVEN, ADD Systems’ mobile delivery solution, for its delivery trucks.

Since 1973, Flanders, N.J.-based ADD Systems has been a provider of software for the petroleum, propane, gasoline and convenience-store industries.
