GREENSBORO, N.C. -- Gilbarco Veeder-Root has announced that E25 Field Retrofit Kits are now available for the entire line of Encore dispensers.
Retailers interested in offering E15 fuel or any other blend up to E25 will be required to prove E25 fuel compatibility and Underwriters' Laboratory (UL) approval in order to maintain the unit's listing, the company said.
Encore E25 kits provide Gilbarco's partners with what it said is an industry-first opportunity in fuel marketing and an affordable way to upgrade existing equipment with UL-certified components.

The Encore E25 Retrofit Kit includes a meter and valve assembly that enables rapid installation. These kits continue Gilbarco's commitment to providing products that meet the changing fueling landscape while minimizing retailers' infrastructure upgrade costs, it said.
Gilbarco Veeder-Root offers a broad range of fuel dispensers specifically designed for alternative fuels. All are approved by UL and the National Conference on Weights & Measures (NCWM) for up to E85 and covered by a two-year warranty. The Flex Fuel dispensers are available with the same CRIND options as other Encore models. Options include PCI and EMV-compliant payment systems and Applause TV for forecourt merchandising.
