Kum & Go Selects GSP for POP Services, Software

Site-specific, store-level execution tool generates sign placement guide

WEST DES MOINES, Iowa -- Kum & Go LC and GSP, a leading provider of retail services, have entered into an agreement for GSP to provide point-of-purchase (POP) program management services as well as software management solutions for all of the Iowa convenience retailer's more than 420 locations.

"We are excited to have GSP as our new POP marketing partner," said Megan Elfers, Kum & Go's vice president of marketing and communications. "GSP's ability to manage complex POP programs efficiently and their convenience retail expertise made them the ideal choice. We are anxious to fully leverage their capabilities in design and data management in the future."

GSP's POP Program Management services include production (print, fabrication and fulfillment services with guaranteed 100% accuracy rate), local account support and inventory management. POPManager, GSP's proprietary order management software, generates store-specific packing slips that detail each store's required package contents for a site-specific kit with no overage--ensuring that retailers only pay for the elements used in the stores. GSP also delivers every sign kit with a 100% site-specific sign placement guide, generated by the store-level execution tool, POPRender.

"It is an honor to work with a retail leader like Kum & Go," said Geoff Neuhoff, GSP's CEO. "We are confident that our POPManager technology will assist them in making their growth plans a store-level reality, by eliminating waste and by enabling their team to target marketing efforts to the individual needs of each store."

GSP is focused on sustainable business practices, minimizing the overall environmental impact of the various POP elements, and to help retailers like Kum & Go maintain environmentally friendly convenience stores. POPManager provides a 25% to 30% reduction in waste by utilizing store profiles to print only what is needed at each store. We also reduce the overall environmental impact by recycling materials, reducing emissions and reducing energy consumption.

Clearwater, Fla.-based GSP provides retail branding and marketing services with a focus on site-specific execution.

Kum & Go, West Des Moines, Iowa, operates convenience stores in 11 states (Iowa, Arkansas, Colorado, Minnesota, Missouri, Montana, Nebraska, North Dakota, Oklahoma, South Dakota and Wyoming). In addition to a wide selection of merchandise, Kum & Go provides customers a proprietary mix of products under the Hiland brand. Other proprietary product offerings include Java Ridge Premium Coffee, Napa Creek and Sea Ridge wines, Go Fresh Market sandwiches and Nuclear energy drinks.
