MPSI Renews Microsoft Gold Certified Partner Status

Achieves certification for fourth consecutive year
TULSA, Okla. -- MPSI, a leading provider of marketplace data, site evaluation and fuels pricing solutions, said that it has retained Gold Certified Partner status within the Microsoft Partner Network for the fourth consecutive year. Microsoft awards this certification to those partners who have demonstrated the highest level of competence and expertise using Microsoft technologies.

"We are extremely pleased to have once again attained Microsoft Gold Certified Partner status. In order to maintain this elite certification, Microsoft surveys our clients annually and awards [image-nocss] the gold status only when strict requirements are met or surpassed based on the results of the survey," said MPSI President and CEO, Jim Auten. "This accomplishment clearly exemplifies our ongoing commitment to providing trusted and proven technology solutions to customers worldwide."

As a Microsoft Gold Certified partner, MPSI has demonstrated expertise with Microsoft technologies and a proven ability to meet customers' needs. For 2010, the company has once again been conferred with competencies in web development (previously a specialization within custom development solutions), data platform (previously known as data management solutions) and business intelligence. Microsoft competencies are designed to help differentiate a partner's strengths and capabilities with specific Microsoft technologies to customers looking for a particular type of solution. Each competency has a unique set of requirements and benefits, formulated to accurately represent the specific skills and services that partners bring to the technology industry.

"Customers are looking for partner companies that can bridge the gap between their business demands and technology capabilities," said Allison Watson, corporate vice president of the Worldwide Partner Group at Microsoft Corp. "They need to trust in a company that can act as an expert adviser for their long-term strategic technology plans. Microsoft Gold Certified Partners, which have certified expertise and direct training and support from Microsoft, can build a positive customer experience with our technologies. Today, Microsoft again recognizes MPSI as a Gold Certified Partner for demonstrating its expertise in providing customer satisfaction using Microsoft products and technology."

Tulsa, Okla.-based MPSI has more than 400 customers in 80 countries. Its customer-base spans more than 30 different industry segments and ranges from top companies owning thousands of sites to customers with one location.
