Pinnacle Palm POS Interface Approved for Phillips 66 Brands

Applies to Conoco, Phillips 66, 76 branded locations

HOUSTON -- Phillips 66 Co. has approved for release The Pinnacle Corp.'s Palm POS interface for Conoco, Phillips 66 and 76 branded locations.

Houston-based Phillips 66 debuted this month as an independent downstream company after spinning off from ConocoPhillips (see Related Content below for previous CSP Daily News coverage).

As a replacement to the legacy CPNI5 payment host, the NTS host provides increased data security measures for payment transactions and will enable Conoco, Phillips 66 and 76 branded marketers to take advantage of additional features and benefits that will improve their bottom line.

As part of the overall efforts, Pinnacle's Phillips 66 NTS interface has passed the PA-DSS v2.0 guidelines as defined by the PCI Security Standards Council (PCI SSC), and is listed as Palm POS - Conoco Phillips v10.0 on the PCI SSC website www.pcisecuritystandards.org. Pinnacle Palm POS with the NTS interface has been approved for installation at Conoco, Phillips 66 and 76 branded retailer sites supported by the NTS payment network.

"We are excited to have completed the migration from the legacy CPNI5 network to NTS," said Denise Lewis, retail solutions manager at Pinnacle. "Completion of this project enables Pinnacle to continually add incremental value to our current and prospective Palm POS clients that are looking for a POS platform supporting the latest market features and programs, in combination with the brand flags they fly."
