CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo. -- PAJCO Inc., which operates Rhodes 101 Stops Convenience Stores and Mercato di Rodi markets and bistros, has launched a new mobile payment program that it said will change the way consumers make fuel purchases.
The program is anchored with Rhodes 101 Stops' Advantages Pay Plus program, which allows customers to have purchases debited directly out of their checking account.
Customers will see the posted price roll back.
"In an effort to reward our loyal customers, we hope they will be pleased to see the price rollback at the fuel dispenser," said Keith Boeller, president of PAJCO Inc. "With this launch, we are continuing our commitment to always provide the most innovative and exceptional customer experience."
Customers can use the Rhodes 101 Advantages Pay Plus program through either the payment card or the Rhodes 101 To Go! mobile app. The app is the cornerstone of the program. With it, customers can scan a QR code at the pump to begin fueling.
Other app features include tracking purchases, locating the nearest Rhodes 101 Stop convenience store and listing the services at each store.
To enroll, customers fill out the online application. Once the application has been approved, customers can start saving on fuel.
Multiple firewalls, data encryption and unique PIN requirements are just a few of the safeguards in place around the program, the company said.
Cape Girardeau, Mo.-based PAJCO Inc. operates 25 convenience stores and one travel center under the Rhodes 101 Stops concept, as well as two Mercato di Rodi locations.
