RTO, PeopleMatter Join Forces

Partnership will offer RTO content through PeopleMatter LEARN

ELIZABETHTOWN, Pa. & CHARLESTON, S.C. -- Ready Training Online (RTO), a leader in service industry training solutions and content, and PeopleMatter, a comprehensive talent management solution designed specifically for the service industry, have announced a partnership to offer RTO content through PeopleMatter LEARN.

With products specifically designed to meet the needs of the service industry's hourly workforces, PeopleMatter and RTO also share a drive for consistent excellence in service and quality. The anticipation of this partnership has received praise from clients of the partnering companies, particularly in the convenience store space.

"At Ricker's, we have worked with both PeopleMatter and RTO," said Karen Mitchener, Ricker Oil Co. director of human resources. "It has been apparent that a relationship between RTO and PeopleMatter would be--and now is--a perfect marriage to deliver the complete onboarding process from the paperwork through the training."

With access to all RTO content within the LEARN module, PeopleMatter clients can use the First 24 Series, Manager Series and Specialist Series. The First 24 Series is designed to provide new hires basic training and best industry practices to all employees within their first 24 hours of employment. The Specialist Series offers the "Ultimate Trainer," the Merchandising Specialist and the Loss Prevention Specialist. Some of the skills reinforced through all of these programs include: positive energy and attitude, diligent work ethic, understanding gross profit, preventing scams and how to measure inventory loss.

"We are very excited about our partnership with PeopleMatter," said Jeff Kahler, RTO president. "It will allow both companies to focus on their core offerings, while providing an invaluable resource to our clients and their team members."

With high turnover as a common trend for service industries--such as convenience, restaurant, retail and hospitality verticals--it is imperative that new employees are quickly hired, trained and on the floor working as productive employees. Delivering RTO content through PeopleMatter's integrated Platform helps service businesses guarantee consistent, high-quality performance from team members at all levels, the companies said.

"Partnering with RTO is a natural fit," said Nate DaPore, PeopleMatter president and CEO. "Their high quality content combined with our easy-to-use Platform provides our clients with a wide array of options for training and development of their most valuable asset--their people. Together we'll continue to provide the service industry with technology that offers operational efficiencies, as well as a consistent and enjoyable experience for employees."
