CUBA, Mo. -- Wallis Cos.' On the Run customers in the St. Louis area can now access daily winning lottery numbers through the convenience store retailer's app through a recent app upgrade by OpenStore by GasBuddy.
This upgrade is applicable for iPhone, Android and Blackberry users. It is supplied by the Missouri Lottery feed, which allows the app to display the winning numbers as soon as they are reported by the state.
St. Louis-area On the Run customers can also benefit from a new game just added to the app called Batter Up. In this interactive baseball bubble game, users need to match three identical prizes to win. Prizes include in-store coupons or free merchandise; participants can gain credits or move up on the in-app leaderboards.
These two improvements are in addition to the app's other features, which include deals of the day, store locations, gasoline prices and customer feedback.
"The customers love the deals on the app and we are excited to add more features they will enjoy," said Tracey Hughes, vice president of strategic planning for On the Run. "The app provides customers with great values, fun experiences and information they want like gas prices and winning lottery numbers, right in the palm of their hands."
OpenStore by GasBuddy increases customer loyalty by providing two-way communication between c-store owners and customers using web technologies and custom branded mobile applications. The OpenStore dashboard makes it easy to collect customer feedback, manage social media, deliver mobile coupons and text message campaigns all from one location.
