SW Ga. Oil Signs With RBS Lynk

Firm will provide payment processing for petroleum marketer

BAINBRIDGE, Ga. -- Southwest Georgia Oil Co. has signed an exclusive, multi-year processing agreement with payment processor RBS Lynk.

Under the terms of the agreement, RBS Lynk will process Southwest Georgia Oil's credit, debit and check transactions as well as manage Southwest Georgia's fuel card program for commercial accounts.

RBS Lynk offers high-speed payment processing services, reporting solutions, customized prepaid cards, ATM management and fleet management programs to address the challenges of petroleum retailers. With [image-nocss] RBS Lynk, petroleum retailers are able to offer secure, high-speed pay at the pump transactions with greater system reliability and uptime, the company said.

RBS Lynk, Atlanta, is a single-source provider of electronic payment processing services including credit, debit, EBT, gift cards, customer loyalty cards, checks and more. RBS Lynk is the ninth-largest merchant acquirer in the United States and the third-largest processor of ATMs in the United States, it said. It is a member of The Royal Bank of Scotland Group.

Bainbridge, Ga.-based Southwest Georgia Oil operates 42 sites under the name SunStops, selling Inland, its private brand of fuel at convenience stores, gas stations and travel centers in Georgia, Florida, Alabama and Mississippi.
