ZipLine Hires New President and COO

Scudder brings experience in ACH, multiple payment technologies

COCONUT CREEK, Fla. -- ZipLine has named Russell Scudder as president and COO of ZipLine, reporting directly to Stephen Goodrich, chairman and CEO.

Scudder comes to ZipLine from Portland, Maine-based Next Gen Payment Solutions, where he served as president and CEO.

As president of ZipLine, Scudder will direct a senior leadership team responsible for all functional areas of the business, including current efforts in payment, loyalty and data-analytics solutions to the convenience-store and fuel marketing business, as well as emerging markets.

“As ZipLine continues to build its strategic importance in the marketplace, the addition of Russ allows us to better focus on the market’s key issues,” said Goodrich.

ZipLine technologies leverage decoupled debit (automated clearinghouse) to provide mobile and alternative payments to the retail petroleum sector. The Coconut Creek, Fla.-based company offers private-label ACH decoupled debit payment solutions within the convenience-store industry, providing merchants with a market mechanism to regain ownership of consumer relationships and empowering merchants to build strong loyalty programs.
