CEFCO

For the past several years, CEFCO has been expanding its chain into new markets and additional states with ground-up stores, further developing its c-store strategy with prototype locations. CEFCO’s parent company is Fikes Wholesale Inc., a multi-branded petroleum products marketer that has been in business for more than 50 years, with offices in Temple and Tyler, Texas, and Meridian, Miss. The CEFCO chain of stores and network of dealers offer fuel and convenience items in stores known for their cleanliness and safe environment. Many locations provide additional services including restaurants and car washes. Fikes distributes fuel products from Shell, ExxonMobil, ChevronTexaco, CITGO and Valero to retail stations throughout the southeastern United States. In addition, Fikes serves many unbranded and commercial accounts with gasoline and diesel fuel. The management team is proud of its many years of combined experience, with backgrounds ranging from small independent store operators to major oil company management. "Fueling your Success" is the company's slogan. The chain has been growing every year for the past several years and has more than 2,000 employees. CEFCO plans to add six to 12 stores per year.
