The lowest priority for c-store foodservice shoppers when making a visit decision is the dining experience, with 6.4% of respondents reporting that either the need to connect with others or the need for a unique menu and dining experience drove their experience.

Once again, Family Express outpaced consumers’ overall industry perceptions, with 17.3% of consumers saying they visited the chain for “experience” reasons—particularly the need to connect and socialize with friends and family. Fas Mart, Ricker’s and Rutter’s also received high marks relative to the industry average.
