Kum & Go Hires New CFO

Kuhl will be a great fit with the company’s values, play a significant leadership role, says Krause

DES MOINES, Iowa — Convenience-store retailer Kum & Go LC has hired Erin Kuhl as chief financial officer.

In the role of CFO, Kuhl will provide financial strategy and executive leadership in developing short-term and long-term financial plans for Kum & Go, while enhancing company performance, working capital and the culture of the business.

“We are thrilled to have Erin join Kum & Go’s senior leadership team. She brings a tremendous reputation as a successful and hardworking leader,” said Tanner Krause, president of Kum & Go. “We think she will be a great values fit to the organization and play a significant role helping lead our company’s future.”

Kuhl most recently was vice president, controller and treasurer for Athene USA, a retirement services company based in West Des Moines, Iowa. Before that, she spent time in the public accounting sector as a member of the audit practice of PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP in Chicago.

“Being able to step into a financial leadership role at an organization with such a strong presence in the community is really exciting,” Kuhl said.
