RUSHVILLE, Ind. -- Herdrich Petroleum Corp. has purchased four Kelly's convenience stores with gasoline from Kelly Oil Co. Inc., Milan, Ind.
The four retail locations are located in Dearborn and Ripley counties in Indiana. The purchase allows Rushville, Ind.-based Herdrich Petroleum to expand its market presence to southeastern Indiana with its Quick Pix c-store brand, the company announced on its Facebook page.
“We are excited to acquire these stores and build upon the great work Kelly Oil has done with the sites over the years,” Herdrich Petroleum said. “It is our intent to maintain the very competitive fuel pricing structure Kelly has become known for while investing and enhancing the convenience-store offering. We’re grateful to the Kelly Oil team for making this a smooth transition and looking forward to being introduced to a very loyal customer base and becoming part of the community.”
Herdrich Petroleum has 24 Quick Pix c-stores in central Indiana. It began operations in 1953 in Connersville, Ind. It opened its first c-stores in New Castle, Rushville and Connersville, Ind., in the 1980s, taking the Quick Pix name in 2005.
It provides branded and unbranded fuels to another 120 independently operated c-stores. Quick Pix c-stores offer the Shell, Marathon and Countrymark brands of fuel. In its third generation of leadership, the family-owned and -operated company employs more than 250 people.
