Love’s Grows Where the Highway Goes (Slideshow)

Chain opens seven locations in six states, as well as its first Dunkin’ Donuts

OKLAHOMA CITY -- Since March 10, Love’s Travel Stops & Country Stores Inc. has opened seven new locations in six states.

On March 10, the chain opened travel stops in Plymouth, Ind., along U.S. Highway 30; Burlington, Colo., along Interstate 70; and Nowata, Okla., along U.S. Highway 169. And on March 17, it opened stores in Buena Vista, Colo., along U.S. Highway 24; Midland, Texas, along Interstate 20; Scott City, Kan., along U.S. Highway 83; and Sikeston, Mo., along U.S. Highway 60.

All Love’s Travel Stops feature showers, RFID cardless fueling and CAT scales. Drivers will also find coffee, fresh fruit, convenience-store items, gift items and name-brand electronics at the stores.

The Plymouth location includes 59 truck parking spaces, a Love’s Truck Tire Care center and a Hardee’s restaurant.

The Burlington location has a Carl’s Jr. restaurant and Love’s Truck Tire Care center, as well as 73 truck parking spaces.

The Nowata location includes 38 truck parking spaces and a Subway restaurant.

A 78-room Fairfield Inn & Suites hotel will open adjacent to the travel stop in Burlington this summer. Professional drivers with a valid commercial driver’s license will be eligible for discounted room rates.

The Love’s Country Store in Buena Vista features two roller grills that offer hot dogs, tamales and more. Customers will also find Chester’s Chicken and Godfather’s Pizza restaurants.

An 81-room Suburban Extended Stay hotel will open adjacent to the travel stop in Midland this summer. It will also offer professional driver discounts.

The Midland location has 107 truck parking spaces, a Love’s Truck Tire Care center and Subway, Chester’s Chicken and Godfather’s Pizza restaurants.

The Scott City location includes a Sonic Drive-In with indoor seating, a drive thru and drive-in stalls, as well as 53 truck parking spaces.

The Sikeston location is home to Love’s first Dunkin’ Donuts.

"We’re excited about opening our first Dunkin’ Donuts in Sikeston, Mo.,” said Greg Love, co-CEO of Love’s. “We are especially interested in providing a high-quality breakfast that includes an array of breakfast sandwiches, famous coffee and of course the doughnuts."

The location also includes a Chester’s Chicken restaurant and 67 truck parking spaces.
